The Romanian legal framework on insolvency procedure has been consistently improved following the enactment of Insolvency Law no. 85 (Law 85), which entered into force on 21 July 2006.
Background
This legal update gives an overview of the key amendments to Federal Law No 127 - FZ "On insolvency (bankruptcy)" dated 26 October 2002 (the Insolvency Law) and Federal Law No 40 - FZ "On insolvency (bankruptcy) of credit organisations" dated 25 February 1999 (the Insolvency Law of Credit Organisations).
On 17 April 2009 the Russian State Duma adopted Federal Law No 73 - FZ - "On amendments to certain legislative acts of the Russian Federation" (the 73-FZ Law).

Slovenia has amended the Financial Operations, Insolvency Proceedings and Compulsory Dissolution Act (ZFPPIPP or the Insolvency Act) again, following amendments in 2013, amending preventive restructuring, simplified compulsory settlement and personal bankruptcy proceedings. Amendments to the Insolvency Act, which were adopted by the National Assembly on 31 March 2016, will come into force on 26 April 2016.
