The petition estimates the Debtor’s assets to be between $1 – $10 million and its liabilities to be between $500,000 – $1 million. The Debtor’s list of top 20 creditors only includes one party—Universal Semiconductor, Inc.

The Petition estimates Searchmetric’s assets between $1–$10 million and its liabilities between $10-$50 million.

The Debtors, based in Gardena, California, are a discount retailer of brand name apparel and household items, with 344 stores and over 9,800 employees nationwide.

The Debtors estimate their assets to be between $10,000,001 and $50 million and their liabilities to be between $100,000,001 and $500 million.

M&G Polymers USA, the West Virginia-based American arm of M&G Chemicals (Luxembourg) has filed a petition for relief under Chapter 11 in the Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware (Case No. 17-12268).

Nuverra Environmental Solutions, Inc. (OTCQB: NESC), one of the largest environmental solutions companies focused on the development and ongoing production of oil and natural gas in the United States, and 13 of its affiliates, have filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware (Lead Case No. 17-10949).

In a case of first impression, DLA Piper argued before the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware that a consent provision in a Delaware LLC operating agreement effectively granting a creditor a veto right over a debtor’s decision to file for bankruptcy was void because it was contrary to federal public policy.
