Overview and Implications of the Regulatory Reform of OTC Derivatives July 21, 2010 On July 21, 2010, the President signed into law watershed financial reform legislation titled the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (the "Dodd-Frank Act"). The effects of the Act on the derivatives marketplace will be profound, but they will not be immediately felt.
